PatrolGuard act as 'first key holder' for the premises intruder or fire alarm system, receiving the call and deploying a security officer to quickly and professionally deal with the cause of the alarm. Whilst PatrolGuard usually provide cover at night or weekends, alarm response is available 24/7, all year including Bank holidays.



On arrival when attending an activation call-out, the officer would first visually check the front of the building, then the rear if possible, before entering the site. If there were any signs of damage or entry, the officers would immediately call the Police for backup.

If all looks secure, the officer will enter the building, silence the alarm, look for (and resolve) the cause of the activation, and secure the premises. The officer writes a quick report to explain what happened, and what they did about it, leaving this for you to see in the morning.

If impossible to secure the site, the officer would usually call your nominated decision maker to tell them what had happened and seek approval for the proposed action. PatrolGuard policy is not to call you unless absolutely necessary, and then not to get you out of bed.
